Of messages, Pope Francis sent letter to Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski in his capacity as Pope Francis’ Special Envoy at the opening of the shrine in Toruń (Poland), dedicated to Mary Most Holy, Star of the New Evangelisation, and to St. John Paul II, scheduled for May 18, 2016 (full text in Latin). As well, it was reported that he sent message to representatives of the Rome-Lazio section of UNITALSI (Italian National Union for Transporting the Sick to Lourdes and International Shrines) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of UNITALSI beginning the transporting of sick to the Marian sanctuary in Lourdes, France.
