Love Leads To Openness And Sharing

Today Pope Francis received a number of audiences, including:

• prefect of the Congregation for bishops, Cardinal Marc Ouellet
President of the Swiss Confederation, Johann Schneider-Ammann
• yesterday, 23 new Swiss Guard were sworn in, and today Pope Francis had an audience with them (full text)

Of messages, Pope Francis sent letter to Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski in his capacity as Pope Francis’ Special Envoy at the opening of the shrine in Toruń (Poland), dedicated to Mary Most Holy, Star of the New Evangelisation, and to St. John Paul II, scheduled for May 18, 2016 (full text in Latin). As well, it was reported that he sent message to representatives of the Rome-Lazio section of UNITALSI (Italian National Union for Transporting the Sick to Lourdes and International Shrines) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of UNITALSI beginning the transporting of sick to the Marian sanctuary in Lourdes, France.

And today, Pope Francis made a bunch of appointments, and for the 50th World Communication Day, which is tomorrow, he sent a tweet:
