The House Where Everyone Is Welcomed
This morning at Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis celebrated Mass and delivered a homily on the joy of those who follow God (more details).
Today Pope Francis received an array of audiences, including:
• several prelates
• ambassador of Senegal, Félix Oudiane
• president of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa
• participants in the 2016 Harvard World Model United Nations (World MUN) (full text)
Also today Pope Francis made one appointment and sent a tweet:
No one can be excluded from the mercy of God. The Church is the house where everyone is welcomed and no one is rejected. (link)
In Pope Francis related news:
Today, in the Roman Catholic publication Avvenire, was published an interview with Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in which he spoke very highly of Pope Francis (original article in Italian).
And that’s the Pope Francis news for the day!
