A Mass for the Jubilee for Priests

Today, to conclude the Jubilee for Priests, Pope Francis celebrated Mass at St. Peter’s Square and gave a homily (full text, full video, summary video).

Organized this week at the Vatican is a summit titled the Judges’ Summit on Human Trafficking and Organized Crime, to undo human trafficking across the Earth and this evening Pope Francis attended and spoke at a portion of the summit (full text, summary video).

Mercy In Its Various Aspects

As part of the Jubilee for Priests, Pope Francis prepared three meditations on the topic “mercy in its various aspects.” The first meditation was read today at the Basilica of St. John Lateran (extensive text in English, full text, full video), the second today at the Basilica of St. Mary Major (extensive text in English, full text, full video), and the third at St. Paul Outside-the-Walls (extensive text in English, full text, full video). A Grace You Can Implore Daily In Prayer

Today at St. Peter’s Square, in honor of the Jubilee of Deacons, Pope Francis celebrated Mass and gave a homily on being a faithful servant (full text, summary video), and after Mass, he gave an Angelus Address (full text, full video, summary video).

Moreover today, he received in audience Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle. The following day, Cardinal Tagle spoke at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome.

Before his General Audience, today Pope Francis received in audience His Grace Baba Edmond Brahimaj, world leader of the Bektashi community, Albania.
